Welcome to Hill City Comics mail order comic book subscription service. We will try to do everything we can to make ordering your comics from us as simple as possible. Comics can be paid for by Visa, MasterCard, American Express or PayPal. To set up a comic book subscription, just send us an email telling us your name and shipping address and the list of books you want to order. One of our sales staff will telephone you back to go over your order with you as well as get your payment details from you.

New comics arrive every Wednesday. Customers with books arriving will be sent an email updating them what has arrived for them.

Any subscriber can call to set up an instore account for shopping on the website. This will give the subscriber the apportunity to add any single issues to their subscription from the website without having to make payment when they check out on the website. (just give us a call to set up)

With an instore account set up, subscribers can also place monthly pre-orders on the website without having to make payment when checking out.

   How it Works

Tell us what books you wish to receive (this could be just a single issue like New Avengers #15 or a running series like Superman).

If you are collecting a mainstream title from any of the major publishes (Marvel, DC, Image, Dark Horse, etc.) you can add or remove a title at any time.

If you are ordering small press titles (Glamourpuss, Courtney Crumrin, Rachel Rising, etc.) you will be expected to purchase any outstanding issues on order for you at the time you cancel the title.

You can pay for you order by credit card, PayPal or Money Order. If you are paying by credit card we will bill your credit card each week as your books arrive.

If paying by money order you will have to send us a deposit of $50.00 for your books, as we ship your books you will have to replenish your deposit.

   Cost for Shipping

We can ship your books as often as you like; weekly, bi-weekly, monthly or for smaller orders even bi-montly.

Packages up to 500 grams (approx. 4 comics) can ship for $6.00 by bubble envelope and includes a thick piece of cardboard so the mailman doesn't bend your package.

Medium size parcels (up to 2 kilograms - approx. 20 comics) ship in a heavy duty cardboard box at a flat rate of $12.00 for Northern Ontario and Manitoba, $14.00 for the rest of Ontario and Quebec, and $16.00 for the rest of Canada. (some remote locations may be subject to higher prices)

Large size parcels (up to 5 kilograms - approx. 50 comics) ship in a heavy duty cardboard box at a flat rate of $14.00 for Northern Ontario and Manitoba, $16.00 for the rest of Ontario and Quebec, and $18.00 for the rest of Canada. (some remote locations may be subject to higher prices)

Parcels heavier than 5 kilos will ship based on exact Canada Post.

We do offer our service to overseas customers but due to the high cost of shipping we will try to ship you out when you have either 1 kilogram (2.2 lbs.) of books ready to ship (about 18 average size comics) for $35.00 or 2 kilograms of books for $55.00.
